Join the Guilford HS Science Olympiad Team (ranking 8th in Connecticut) in our FIFTH YEAR of inspiring students to dig deeper in the sciences and explore the world of science, technology, and engineering while competing in the national Science Olympiad organization (www.soinc.org)! Our main goal --aside from moving on to the National Tournament-- is to create an atmosphere where all students have the opportunity to apply, and build on, knowledge acquired from basic high school classes to conquer more complex problems.

Our team is split into TWO teams during the beginning of our season, where there is cross-team collaboration but tests are taken separately. These two teams are in no way shape or form divided on skill, but solely by grade to create some comfort in the testing room...
